Neighbour's RoofPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 3 March 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. Just messing around with my camera the other day, not a lot to say about this kind of shot really... except, perhaps, "I like the blue". Didn't do a lot of post-processing here at all, cropped it a little bit. Those tiles really are quite blue. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

@Bronnie: Yeah, they are blue. dYe from Cambridge, United StatesYou're right, there's not much to say except "great color!" and "wow, they really are blue!" Nonetheless, I just wanted to tell you I like the shot very much. 3 Mar 2007 8:43am @dYe: Cheers dYe! Sylvia from Milano, ItalyVery nice, I too, love blue-- but the effect is interesting because it's almost like super-symmetrical waves, or something done as an illustration in photo shop-- I know they are tiles, but they also could be ___. 3 Mar 2007 8:53am @Sylvia: Thanks Sylvia. There is a hypnotic quality to those tiles. In real life too. I often find myself just going out on the balcony and staring at them... Mike Cash from Kiryu, JapanI love this one.
