Browsing for Books, Umeda

Taken in the shopping arcade under the Hankyu Umeda train station, Osaka.

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

Very nice. Those old-fashioned used bookstores are interesting to browse, but a nightmare if you're looking for anything even remotely specific.

@Mike Cash: A complete mystery to me with my poor Japanese ability! There are a few old bookshops in this one small section of the arcade - quite well-known apparently.

nice work. love old bookstores, they have a most mellowing atmosphere for me. I can spend years browsing about in these kind of places.
