Shopping for Shoes, Umeda

Posted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 2 April 2007 in Cityscape & Urban.

Hanging around the Chayamachi area of Umeda, Osaka. Got told off by the staff after taking this!

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Mike Cash from Kiryu, Japan

What they're afraid of is spies from competitors, believe it or not. You're lucky to be able to buy shoes here; they almost never have them in my size. I'm a 29 and most stores only stock up to 27.5.

@Mike Cash: Wonder what trade secrets they thought I might be capturing...?
