Let it Rain

Determined to enjoy hanami, no matter what!

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Mia from Cin City, United States

A crop/composition like this draws the viewer's attention to the hands, natural posture of the people... makes it more fun in interpreting the shot :)

@Mia: Thanks very much Mia!

Rene from Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada

I would agree, the hands tell the story. Nice idea. I would never do this myself, I feel wierd cropping out peoples heads. But that's just me.

@Rene: Cheers Rene!

Mike Cash from Kiryu, Japan

Very nice scene. Was this one of the areas where people stake out their spot days in advance?

@Mike Cash: Not sure Mike... it was a 'good spot' though if I remember...
