Spring PoetryPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 16 April 2007 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. The notes tied onto the branches are all 'haiku' poems. ...And, on the blog as well as in Japan, I think that may be it for the sakura this year! Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Sylvia Van Nooten from Milano, ItalyLovely, tranquil capture, the colors are just beautiful. 16 Apr 2007 6:16am @Sylvia Van Nooten: Thank you Sylvia! Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomThats a really nice idea, to tie the Haiku poems to the cherry tree. 17 Apr 2007 12:10am @Richard_Irwin: It was a very picturesque scene Richard. Dawn Sutherland from Phoenix, United StatesLook like a lovely place to be, nice peaceful moment. 17 Apr 2007 12:41am @Dawn Sutherland: It was Dawn, thanks! Mike Cash from Kiryu, JapanVery colorful scene! Now that we've packed up the sakura and placed them in the figurative attic for another year, the season passes to time to catch those great streaming koi nobori if you can. 22 Apr 2007 10:08am @Mike Cash: I was thinking the same thing today Mike... a few going up around here. |
