The notes tied onto the branches are all 'haiku' poems.
...And, on the blog as well as in Japan, I think that may be it for the sakura this year!
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

Thats a really nice idea, to tie the Haiku poems to the cherry tree.

Very colorful scene! Now that we've packed up the sakura and placed them in the figurative attic for another year, the season passes to time to catch those great streaming koi nobori if you can.
