Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Inès from Belgium

I love the effect of the mirror !! That give a very interesting balance !!

@Inès: Thanks! Actually, there's no mirror Ines...!

Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, Australia

I'll second Inès' sentiments, the mirror makes for quite a dynamic portrait. The converstion to black and white is also sharp, bringing the image together well. Nice work man!

@Chris Sullivan: Thank you Chris. But there's no mirror! It's 2 different people...

Mike Cash from Kiryu, Japan

Very deceptive. I also thought there might be a mirror there at first. I was too busy enjoying looking at the pretty girl to give it much thought, though.

Very nice your mirror.... effect! :D

@Henri Rabagny: Ha hah! Thank you Henri!

Art Monkey from Salt Spring Island, Canada

I thought there was a mirror too! - I think it's because of the writing over her forhead - which I like btw - I also agree that B&W makes the image a lot stronger

@Art Monkey: Thank you AM. The photo was taken outside the shop, through the window, hence the writing superimposed on the lady's face.
