Water 3Posted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 3 May 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. Third and final part of Damon Schreiber's "Water" themed project. Quite enjoyed having a go at some abstract shots for this project which I don't often do for some reason. Thanks to Damon for arranging all this. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Sylvia Van Nooten from Milano, ItalyYou and your photographs are enigmatic to say the least, a fascinating study of black and white, contrast of damp and metallic (to my eye) and I thought of dragon skin for some reason. Is it dragon? Or something mundane made into a rambunctious metaphor for water? 3 May 2007 4:41pm @Sylvia Van Nooten: Ha ha! Thanks Sylvia - I guess you've seen my reply to Day 1 by now...? Sorry I'm so late in commenting on the last of the water series - I seem to have gotten caught up in the cosmic order of events. Closer and closer with your water shots. If the series had run for a few more days, I think we'd be looking at H2O molecules. Great stuff! 13 May 2007 4:09pm @Damon Schreiber: Hah! Thanks for stopping by Damon! @Anangeli: Thanks Anangeli. Does have that look... |
