ReflectPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 4 May 2007 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio. Start of a brief series of shots I picked up while out for a stroll around my neighbourhood the other day. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

@Catalin: Thank you Catalin! Art Monkey from Salt Spring Island, Canadagreat shot - and I am very curious on how you did this 4 May 2007 6:32am @Art Monkey: Cheers AM. Just took a photo of a mirror; didn't really do anything special... is that what you meant? @Anup Payyakkil: Thanks Anup! @Kairospix: Cheers K! @Stunner: Thanks Stunner! Francis from Hong Kong, Hong KongExcellent creative shot. I didn't know how you did it either until I read it was a mirror 4 May 2007 5:03pm @Francis: Cheers Francis! Glad I could confuse you...! Alex Lee from Jeju, South KoreaI love these little road mirrors! I'd recognize the orange-colored ring anywhere. (I used one for my self-portrait on my about page) I've only ever seen them in Japan and Korea. They make for a great, free, alternative (simulated) lens. I like where you've chosen to clip the image. The electrical wires are particularly interesting where the intersect with the bottom of the mirror. 5 May 2007 12:41am @Alex Lee: Cheers Alex. Didn't realize they were so local, thought these mirrors were everywhere! @Nick Passantino: Thank you Nick! |
