Start of a brief series of shots I picked up while out for a stroll around my neighbourhood the other day.
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I love these little road mirrors! I'd recognize the orange-colored ring anywhere. (I used one for my self-portrait on my about page)
I've only ever seen them in Japan and Korea. They make for a great, free, alternative (simulated) lens. I like where you've chosen to clip the image. The electrical wires are particularly interesting where the intersect with the bottom of the mirror.
