May the 5th was "Children's Day" (formerly "Boys' Day") in Japan, and you will see many carp streamers or flags on display around this date. People will usually fly one streamer for each of their children at their homes. These shots were taken near where I live, in Sonoda, Amagasaki city. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
