She saw me!

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Anup from Bangalore, India

The timing is perfect to capture the way she looks at you

Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, Japan

Great portrait, it was better that she saw you, it adds much more to this photo!

@Alfredo J. Martiz J.: I'm glad you think so Alfredo, thanks!

Rags from Plano, United States

She seems to have so much on her mind. Nice composition. I wish the umbrella was not so white. I think it could use some burning in photoshop so that it wont look washed out in white. Having said that, i like your pic!

@Rags: I tried using the burn brush on the umbrella, but I couldn't get it to look natural. It really was a very white umbrella!

Stu from Kyoto, Japan

This has a timeless feel to it. Very nice indeed, D!

Evie from Fairfax, United States

Nice tones - the b&w works nicely for this portrait.

@Evie: Thank you Evie!

Michael Rawluk from Prince George, Canada

A very nice shot especially with the expression on her face.
