Sunset, Osaka CastlePosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 23 July 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Have to dip into the archives again for a bit, getting to the end of the semester and work is beginning to pile up. Haven't had time to concentrate on photography recently... haven't been out with the camera in what feels like ages. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanElegant silhouettes as badala said, beautiful color!. Daroru, I guess the feeling of not taking photos in ages is something common here in Japan when you start to get busy, amazing. 23 Jul 2007 9:40pm @Alfredo J. Martiz J.: Thank you Alfredo! Stu from Kyoto, JapanOoh, I like this one, D. I visited here a couple of years ago and was sorely disappointed (kitai hazure as they say), because I'd visited Himeji castle first, and nothing competes with Himeji in terms of untouched splendour. The silhouette was definitely the way to go with Osaka as you can't see the glass elevator, plastic trinket store and hot dog vendor that are undoubtably in the foreground. And with that sky as a backdrop this is a real winner. Nicely done! 26 Jul 2007 2:08pm @Stu: Thanks very much Stu! |
