There such beautiful birds in shape, but I also find cormorants quite reptilian, maybe a link back to their dinosaur ancestors. Nice silhoutte. I think it would also look really nice in a panoramic format with the vegetation at the bottom cropped out.

Nice minimalist picture. As variations you could crop out the empry space at the top or take a central crop of only the bird and the rocks
