Kinkakuji Garden

A section of the garden and lake at Kinkakuji temple, Kyoto (see the previous two days' shots for a look at the famous golden pavilion). Taken on Christmas Eve, 2007.
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

You found a very beautiful corner even in winter!Give me a Japanese garden anytime!!!One can never have enough of such a place! If it weren't for the very hot summers and very, very cold winters, I'd like to spend about one year in Kyoto and take in all the gardens at the temples and palaces! It's a dream...of course!
