Snail Island, HiwasaPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 19 January 2008 in Landscape & Rural. A closer view of the island from yesterday's shot. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

@Tali: Thank you Tali! Wolfgang Prigge from CanadaTo just show the island this one is better, to show the bay and the island yesterday's is better, I guess it depends on your purpose. Both have the beautiful light of the low sun... 19 Jan 2008 12:26pm @Wolfgang Prigge: Thanks Wolfgang! Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaSuper shot. It looks so small but well laid out. 19 Jan 2008 3:15pm @Michael Skorulski: Cheers Michael. It is a small town! Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaAs striking as - if not more- than yesterday, I love to see that part of it too :) 19 Jan 2008 3:43pm @Lorraine: Thank you Lorraine. @malahat: Thank you malahat. Aayawa from Edinburgh, United KingdomThere is a slight colour cast that actually makes the picture more interesting 19 Jan 2008 8:15pm @Aayawa: That could be the sunset. Thanks Aayawa. chris chisu from Seattle, United StatesNo matter how you slice this picture ,the evident point about it is the "Snail" which seems to slowly slide his way accros the frame. 19 Jan 2008 10:00pm @chris chisu: Cheers chris! @Craiger: Thank you Craiger. |
