Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

To just show the island this one is better, to show the bay and the island yesterday's is better, I guess it depends on your purpose. Both have the beautiful light of the low sun...

There is a slight colour cast that actually makes the picture more interesting

No matter how you slice this picture ,the evident point about it is the "Snail" which seems to slowly slide his way accros the frame.
Perhaps that's the reason they called the island "Snail".It is like nature intended it this way.
