Ohama Beach, 6:30 a.m.

Hiwasa, Tokushima prefecture. Up early to try to photograph the sunrise. The view of the sunrise at this spot is quite famous, but as you can see it was a bit cloudy this morning. Ohama beach is also famous because of the loggerhead turtles that lay their eggs here during summer.
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

A really pretty shot. I've seen turtles laying eggs in Oman and it is such a dramtic sight.

Wonderful and you know what I love the most, the rocks, they are splendid. And the turtles, ah how I would love to see a photo...I've read of it so many times and never seen it before :)
