I like this composition a lot, especially with the blue on the top. I'm wondering what all this food might be? I'd like to try some of it.

@Lucca: Thanks Lucca. There are some photos of some of the food in my previous days' shots. There was all kinds of fish and seafood products - seaweed, even whale.
A colourful stall dominated by the blue (above) so specific to Japan! ( I wonder...what are they doing with the fish that is NOT sold?!)

@Japanalia: Thanks Gabriela. I don't know, what do markets do?? There were little restaurants in the market, maybe they buy some stuff. I wonder...
A nicely framed shot, especially using the two people at the edges. The combination of light and dark is also effective.

Nice colorful shot, I can feel the vibe and smells of the fishmarket. I notice on the top there's a billboard with a whale on it - interesting, because it links to the debate about Japan and whale hunting.

@bm: Well, bm, the stall also sells whale meat. The sign says something like "There's so much fresh food in the waters in the Tosa region" (the area where Kochi is). That includes whale...
Seems like an interesting place. I like the comment by bm about whale hunting. Had the chance to visit a fish market in Bizerta, Tunisia in November. If you care to have a look, here is the link.
