Black Bamboo, Matsuyama Castle

Posted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 23 February 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

Matsuyama Castle is also well known for its black bamboo grove.

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Must be very beautiful the black bamboo...does it mean that the trunks are a very dark green or directly black?
