The weather's beginning to warm up nicely here now, so I thought I'd post a few little icy shots to bid farewell to this year's winter days...
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

Here the last snowfalls of the season are still a few weeks away, they will be wet and slushy like the snow in your photo today. The wet snow feels a lot colder than the dry snow we get in the deep of winter, even though the thermometer says otherwise..

@vu@granby - Wolfgang: I know what you mean Wolfgang. That wet, slushy time is always the most miserable. It didn't last long where I live though. Good luck in the coming weeks!
