Other Views of Mount Fuji, Part 1

If you take the shinkansen between Tokyo and Osaka, this is the view you get of Mount Fuji. It is a spectacular volcano, but people often comment on the industrial foreground, which doesn't often feature in most beauty shots! To be fair, there are far more beautiful views from other sides of the volcano, which include national parks such as Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park http://japanalia.aminus3.com/image/2008-02-10.html
but this is also part of the reality of what surrounds this famous location.

Not the best shots in the world, taken randomly while crouched by a window between cars on the shinkansen, but... it's Mount Fuji!
