At Street Level, Shinjuku

This is one very good take! I like the composition, the street lamps and the light is very subtle, it wraps the buildings and it makes the lonely tree an anchoring silhouette!You've also included the life in the street just enough to let us know the town is alive. Beautiful!

pretty good one-- i like the high contrast. i think Shinjuku can be a bit of a tough place to get a good subject going; here, i think the bare tree works quite well!

Great cityscape - am I the first to notice a tree growing up out of the sidewalk? It makes a great contrast and an interesting statement: we are still on planet earth :)
