Shinjuku Park 3Posted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 11 April 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. I don't know what kind of trees these are, does anyone know? Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Excellent work !! 16 Apr 2008 3:11pm @ruben latre: Thank you ruben! Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanI can tell what what they are: plane trees (Platanus) in the French garden side of the Shinjuku Gyoen. I favour them in autumn, their big palmate leaves turn golden yellow and it is a sight to see! The leaves make a wonderful carpet to sink your feet in! But in spring they barber them in such a terrible way!!! 30 Apr 2008 10:15am @Japanalia: Plane trees eh? Now I know! Thanks Gabriela. @ManuelaR: Thanks ManuelaR! |
