Sprucing Up

Sprucing up the university campus in preparation for the new academic year, which began this month.
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.
I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

It's not the location. It's some combination of the treatment, posture, clothing, and small elements within the frame --but mostly, I think, the treatment.

I like this. The gardener, invisible to the walkers taking precedence in the picture, and the mono treatment makes it timeless.
