Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

A stray or somebody's cat? It seems to me that it found a good place to nap on the net that covers the garbage (Right or wrong?)Of course it is not at ease...it doesn't know whether you're friend or foe.

30 Apr 2008 10:35am

@Japanalia: No no it's their pet, and that's the cat's bed. That's why I called it 'Watchcat". Although, it ran away pretty sharpish when I stopped to talk to it, so not really a very effective guard...

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

He is certainly watching you, you've taken a beautiful blend of colours Daroru, he's so clean he has to be someone's cat :)

@Lorraine: Thank you Lorraine!

Twelvebit from Victoria, United States

OK, but don't try to use a different cat photo to convince us there is something like a "seeing-eye-cat."

30 Apr 2008 4:38pm

@Twelvebit: Ever since that equal opportunities for pets movement started...
