Myoken Cable

Takes you part way up Mount Myoken, Hyogo Prefecture. The sides of the tracks are lined with cherry blossom trees. Unfortunately, when we visited here, we were too early - the trees hadn't begun to blossom. As it's cooler up the mountain the trees blossom later! Doh!
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.
I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Nice perspective on the valley with the tracks bringing the eyes there. Very good composition. The cherry trees seems to be a little pink and will blossom soon...

Great capture, I won't be worry about the "sakura" , I actually think it looks beautiful already, composition is great and I love the detail of the small village in the background... !! oohh I so wanna go to Japan !!! Nice job !!

The whole series of shots you're presenting here on Mt. Myoken makes me think of Mt. Takao on the outskitrs of Tokyo (very popular area with both Japanese and foreigners and ALWAYS noisy!). There is a cablecar and also a chairlift. I prefer the cablecar; I don't feel safe in a chairlift, the attraction of the earth is very strong!
