Then you've got to walk around more....outside the municipality! I was as surprised by what I could find in Tokyo which was not like Tokyo. And even here, in Kanagawa, there's a big difference between a town like Machida and the northern part of it, with residences and gardens and rice paddies. This one here looks like a big farm, if the group of houses at the back belong to the same family!
