Early Evening, Heading Home 5Posted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 18 July 2008 in Cityscape & Urban. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

KIJI from VALENCIENNES, FranceThe light of japanese morning. "Coolness" before the terrible heat of japanese summer 18 Jul 2008 6:34am @KIJI: Thanks KIJI... evening actually! @Alun Lambert: Cheers Alun! @Cheryl: Cheers Cheryl! Lorraine from CanadaIt is neat, I really enjoy seeing views from other countries daily life, it always inspires me :) 18 Jul 2008 2:06pm @Lorraine: Thanks Lorraine! Tkf15h from Rio de Janeiro, BrazilBeautiful photo. Just one thing bothers me: are you standing on something to get that angle? Or are you really, really tall? :P 18 Jul 2008 3:30pm @Tkf15h: Thanks Tkf15h. I'm on a bridge! But also I'm really tall. Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomVery good shot Daryl, is this a village, or housing estate on the edge of town. It's interesting to put facts to pictures like this. 18 Jul 2008 8:57pm @Observing: Thanks Mike. This is the neighbourhood around where I live, crossing the river from the bank you saw in previous shots to the other side. There's no 'edge' of town around here - town just goes on and on forever (maybe an exaggeration there...)! @saeed: Cheers saeed! @Twelvebit: Not as tall, but nearly as scaly... |
