Nazca in Peru. A mystery those lines that we can only view from a plane. Looks like a slide projection or old film on a wall in a dark room.

This is going to sound weird, but here goes: The grainy nature of the shot almost makes it look like a design on a pair of jeans. (A very flat then rumpled pair of jeans, yes.) Then a closer look makes it seem kind of like the X-Files that Twelvebit alluded to.
It's whatever you want it to be, even after knowing what it really is.
