Electro Dreaming: NazcaPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 6 August 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

@Observing: Thank you Mike. Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomLove your processing here, the screen effect is very effective, and the image just draws you in. 6 Aug 2008 11:00am @Richard_Irwin: Thanks Richard! @brecht: Thanks brecht! Badlydrawnboy from United StatesA contemplative reflection of the mystery. Beautifully designed. 6 Aug 2008 2:21pm @Badlydrawnboy: Thanks BDB - by the way, you need to enter your URL in your comment box window at the bottom of the screen so people can link to your homepage! Twelvebit from Victoria, United StatesFunny given the response JoeB made to me recently, but this looks like it could be from an x-files episode. Some TV show in Japan about Native Americans? 6 Aug 2008 3:52pm @Twelvebit: Thanks Twelvebit - show about the Nazca lines... akarui from Kagoshima, JapanNazca in Peru. A mystery those lines that we can only view from a plane. Looks like a slide projection or old film on a wall in a dark room. 7 Aug 2008 12:12am @akarui: Thanks akarui. It was from a TV show. Doug from Long Beach, United StatesThis is going to sound weird, but here goes: The grainy nature of the shot almost makes it look like a design on a pair of jeans. (A very flat then rumpled pair of jeans, yes.) Then a closer look makes it seem kind of like the X-Files that Twelvebit alluded to. It's whatever you want it to be, even after knowing what it really is. 7 Aug 2008 4:44am |
