Lorraine from CanadaGood going Daryl, you made traffic interesting, great photo of it :) 20 Sep 2008 2:41pm @Lorraine: Cheers Lorraine! Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceLike the composition & perspective and contrasted rendering. We feel there, as Ana Lucia says, the hell of traffic jams....... 20 Sep 2008 4:26pm @Evelyne Dubos: Thanks Evelyne! Richard_Irwin from Belper, United KingdomAn amazing comment on modern life, the clarity of light I love, and the intensity of the urban challenge of getting from A to B is compelling stuff 20 Sep 2008 10:54pm @Richard_Irwin: Thank you Richard! Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomSame the world over, stuck waiting. Nice process Daryl, lovely tint. 21 Sep 2008 12:45am @Observing: Cheers Mike! @Twelvebit: Not as bad as it seems - they were waiting at traffic lights. dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Statesagain -- wonderful shot and processing! i just love the glow -- looks like this could be used for a commercial! :) 21 Sep 2008 6:43pm @dj.tigersprout: Thank you dj.tigersprout! Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaI meant to comment on this one some time ago - a wonderful (and wonderfully processed) shot, and I believe I know exactly where this is ... just around the corner from the museum, taken from the overpass, no? This is minutes away from my parents-in-law's apartment building. I love that area. Thanks, Daryl, you've caused me to revisit the photos from my last trip to Japan two years ago and make me feel excited about going back for a visit when we can afford to. I'll be sure to look you up when that time comes. 28 Oct 2008 10:25pm @Damon Schreiber: That'd be great Damon! Yes, you've got the location right, the pedestrian bridge over the expressway, heading down to the waterfront from JR Nada station direction. I walked from Oji Koen to the international centre at the waterfront for Japanese class every day for 2 weeks in the summer... |
