Sightseeing at Shuri Castle

A tour guide showing visitors around Shurijo.
This is the other side of the una (forecourt), taken from the same vantage point as yesterday's shot. Interesting features here include the striking bright red tiled floor, the distinct Ryukyu-style roofing, and, to the bottom-left foreground of the shot, a traditional Japanese businessman on his mobile phone.
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.
