Well FedPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 26 December 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. I hope everyone had a good Christmas! Street cats in Naha, Okinawa. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesWell they do look well fed and they don't seem to take notice of you so they must be fairly docile for street cats. Excellent shot here. Well done. 26 Dec 2008 5:42am @Laurie: Cheers Laurie! standley from Carquefou, FranceGreat capture. These cats look content. I like the broom move effect! 26 Dec 2008 6:45am @standley: Thank you Richard! Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaI love this soooo much, I adore cats and I love how they are cared after...I've never seen that before. How lovely! 26 Dec 2008 11:55am @Lorraine: It's funny Lorraine... cats you see on the street in Japan are SO nervous, they rarely let you approach them, unlike back in the UK (maybe because if you see a cat on the street in the UK, it's someone's pet out for a wander, whereas in Japan they'd be feral). But the ones in this park were all friendly! I guess they are well taken care of and are very used to humans. @kavita: Cheers kavita! @Cheryl: Thanks Cheryl! Steve Rice from United StatesNice shot. Hope you had a good Christmas too, Daryl. 26 Dec 2008 11:14pm @Steve Rice: Cheers Steve! Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaOh, friendly cats in Japan - that is rather unusual. I'm happy for them. I love the stillness of the scene with the motion of sweeping. Great stuff! 27 Dec 2008 4:04am |
