View from the bridge in yesterday's shot.

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Observing from West Cheshire, United Kingdom

A lovely looking place... is it a recreational spot? Very fine shot Daryl.

@Observing: There is boating on the river; in the late summer and early autumn evenings you can watch cormorant fishing, with the fishermen attaching burning bales to their boats to bring the fish to the surface... quite spectacular.

Wolfgang - vu@granby from Granby, Québec, Canada

Is that an egret at the far right?

@Wolfgang - vu@granby: Yes it is Wolfgang, you win today's special prize! Thanks!
