Adashino Nenbutsu-ji 2

Posted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 17 January 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

Arashiyama, Kyoto.

A former burial place, the grounds of this temple contain thousands of stone statues commemorating the dead, collected from the local area in the early 1900s.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
