Bamboo Forest, Adashino Nenbutsu-jiPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 21 January 2009 in Landscape & Rural. At the risk of being repetitive... http://digitalguff.aminus3.com/image/2007-12-17.html This path through the bamboo lies at the back of Adashino Nenbutsu temple in Arashiyama, Kyoto. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Japanalia from Yokohama, JapanAhhhh! but ths is by far a much better shot than the previous one (from the same location)! The beauty of bamboo and the light filtered through them.....as if in a heavenly acquarium. The winding staircase adds movement to the shot and helps lead the eyes to the green heights. I'd say...a poetic image! 28 Jan 2009 5:35am @Japanalia: Thank you Gabriela! eddie from mount vernon, United Statesvery impressive enviroment..has an intensity though natural at the same time...good capture.. 28 Jan 2009 5:53pm @eddie: Thanks eddie! akarui from Kagoshima, JapanI have been in that amazing place, so many nice bamboo there... 30 Jan 2009 2:04am @akarui: It's great, hey? |
