Street Menu, ShinsekaiPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 15 February 2009 in Food & Cuisine. As I mentioned before, Shinsekai is a big tourist area, famous for its cheap izakaya restaurants, and deep-fried sticks of kushi katsu are a particularly famous 'cuisine' in the area. Bright, eye-catching menus are displayed on the street outside these restaurants. Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
