This deer appears to be very docile and affectionate. Yet one false move and it could take your face off in about a second.
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

You are so right in recommending caution. People can forget these are wild animals and not pets. Huge difference.
