Korakuen, Okayama 3

The tea bushes are a famous feature of this garden.

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

This is one detail I was not aware of! Quite unusual, too...have never seen tea busehs in other nihonteyen!

Guess I've never actually seen a tea bush. Not a big crop in South Texas.

@Twelvebit: I guess not! They actually still make tea from these bushes which they sell in the garden souvenir shop.
