Looking back over the long corridor seen in last week's shots. You can just see the twin-gabled roof of the main shrine building to the left.
Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

A mighty corridor! And the line of the roof over the corridor looks like a huge water snake.....silvery in the light.
