View over the Setonaikai from Ushimado, OkayamaPosted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 7 October 2009 in Landscape & Rural. Ushimado is part of Setouchi city in Okayama prefecture, Japan. It's a peaceful town with beautiful countryside surrounding it, and beautiful views of the Setonaikai (Inland Sea). Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future. I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Reno from Madrid, SpainGood light and tone you've got here, yes: it seems to be peacefull. 7 Oct 2009 6:51am @Reno: Cheers Reno; very peaceful. @Richard Standley: Thanks Richard! Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesThe inland sea is beautiful. I forget where I saw them, but there were oyster growing structures in this sea. At any rate, a fine shot. 7 Oct 2009 3:16pm @Steve Rice: Thanks Steve. I know they have many of those near Miyajima in Hiroshima. mo.langel from SwitzerlandNice shot! Love zen and graphic picture!
