Springtime at Himeji Castle 2

Posted by Daryl Johnson (Farnham, United Kingdom) on 23 October 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture.

A completely unseasonal series of photos, taken at Himeji Castle, Hyogo prefecture, back in April.

Although I'm now in England, this blog will still feature photos from Japan for the foreseeable future.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

The cherry trees are a nice adornment. This is a lovely scene with all the people.

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

I love the separation: castle up there, among the flowers, and crowd down there, so orderly, so disciplined (at least in the shot). This is a good balanced composition!
