Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 27 September 2007 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

Omiyage-seller at the Danjiri festival in Kishiwada (omiyage means souvenirs).

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Wolfgang Prigge from Canada

Very nice, but the people besides the seller look very tired, must be a tough festival to celebrate....

@Wolfgang Prigge: Thanks Wolfgang. I thought those expressions were quite odd too!

@Amir: Don't you think so Amir? Interesting thing about photography I think... you capture people you never knew and will never know, but you will carry around their image for so many years, you feel so familiar with them...

Twelvebit from Victoria, United States

I love the signage in Japan.

Oh yeah, you and Amir: saying some Japanese woman is beautiful is like saying there are fish in the sea. Japan is full of beautiful women. I have two sons who are entranced by Japanese women.
