Bamboo Forest, Adashino Nenbutsu-ji

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 21 January 2009 in Landscape & Rural.

At the risk of being repetitive... http://digitalguff.aminus3.com/image/2007-12-17.html

This path through the bamboo lies at the back of Adashino Nenbutsu temple in Arashiyama, Kyoto.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Quelle différence avec nos fôrets en France. Nous avons pour décoration dans nos jardins des bambous , mais ils sont petits et moins gros.

Good day, Daryl.

I want to see the baby bamboo!

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

Ahhhh! but ths is by far a much better shot than the previous one (from the same location)! The beauty of bamboo and the light filtered through them.....as if in a heavenly acquarium. The winding staircase adds movement to the shot and helps lead the eyes to the green heights. I'd say...a poetic image!

@Japanalia: Thank you Gabriela!
