Ian from A nice, tranquil leafy place, United Kingdom

Like it. Funny, I remember thinking the crossings in Tokyo would be all orderly, or that there'd be a sort of conventional wisdom where you pick channels to walk through - but nope, it was just bloody chaos!! But always good fun. Great shot.

@Ian: Thanks Ian!

Ronnie 2¢ from London, United Kingdom

At first glance, it looks chaotic but there is a sense of order there . . although it must change by the moment. An interesting social comment.

23 Feb 2009 9:53pm

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie!

Tracy from La Selva Beach, United States

What a fun & lively image. I like thinking that it is a tiny fraction of these people's day- and where are they now?

23 Feb 2009 10:52pm

@Tracy: Thanks Tracy... I like how photos capture that fleeting moment...

vu@granby Gilles Martineau from Granby, Québec, Canada

It's amazing to see such a crowd and looking carefully we see those forth and back channels of moving people.

24 Feb 2009 12:16am

@vu@granby Gilles Martineau: Thanks Gilles!

Lorraine from Gatineau, Canada

Wow, that's a lot of people, but what I find so suprising is how beautiful and fit they all are well at least 99%...what was it, a health/beauty convention?

24 Feb 2009 10:12am

@Lorraine: An interesting comment Lorraine! I have lost touch with how things are health-wise in western countries. No, this is just how it is in Japan...

Twelvebit from Victoria, United States

Is that somebody in the back with a tripod?

24 Feb 2009 4:43pm

@Twelvebit: ...can't see. Or is it just the way he's standing?
