Springtime at Himeji Castle 12

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 2 November 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio.

A completely unseasonal series of photos, taken at Himeji Castle, Hyogo prefecture, back in April.

Honestly, it's hard to stop once you've started...

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Richard Standley from Carquefou, France

Four photographers in the same shot, the subject must have been quite interesting! Great capture.

@Richard Standley: Thanks Richard! Castle, blossoms... plenty of things for the photographer!

dj.tigersprout from New York City, United States

a beautiful squarish composition -- i like the corelation of the cherry blossoms and their shadows: beautiful light and beautiful texture!

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

It's great to see SLRs in use here rather than the cell phones. I like it.

difficult for the guy to find a way without travelling in the field!!
but sometimes, it's the contrary, whe have to wait for people who are in our field and don't want to move!!
great shot!
