Inuyama Castle: Roof Detail Version 2

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 17 April 2010 in Architecture.

A bit cheeky this, a second edit of the same original photo, but I couldn't decide which version I preferred...

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

I'm endlessly fascinated by these tile roofs. It looks great in B&W.

@Steve Rice: Thanks Steve!

Both versions are outstanding--an otherwise ordinary rooftop made into abstract art. I happen to prefer yesterday's post because it shows some other textures, lines, shadows from the ground that add extra interest to the overall designs.

Very difficult to choose between the 2 versions!
I'm balancing for the number 2, but why? I can't explain!!
