Leicester Market, Christmas Eve

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 8 January 2012 in Lifestyle & Culture.

I've got a load of random archive images I've never used, so I think I'm going to have a New Year 'clear out' and go through them - haven't really been out with the camera recently...

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Ronnie 2¢ from Atlantic Shores, United Kingdom

I miss having sound with this - markets are made of smells, sights . . and sounds !

@Ronnie 2¢: Thanks Ronnie!

Curly from South Shields, United Kingdom

I know how you feel, this grey damp and/or windy weather has me camped indoors too. I guess in winter time we should force ourselves to try and do something creative indoors, perhaps macros, or portraits.
Never been to Leicester, so its good to have a look, is this a fully covered market?

@Curly: It's covered in with the roof Curly, but exposed on all sides... looking forward to getting out with the camera in some sunnier weather!

Richard Standley from Carquefou, France

A very nice and colourful market place!

A nice set of colors in that market.

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

An open market like this (even the it has a roof over it, but is not a supermaket or mall) is a good location for a variety of photos! I don't mean the people, but mostly the producs displayed.

@Japanalia: That's true Gabriela.
