"Les Pipos", Latin Quarter

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 9 March 2012 in Lifestyle & Culture.

More archive shots from Paris, this was a delightful little place we found for lunch one day while wandering through the Latin Quarter. They have a website...

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Florence from Paris, France

That's Paris for me ! There is such a mood in some of these "cafés". Some of them have seen thei decoration unchanged since the 1950's. I like that. The bar here seems to be old. Your mono fits particularly well here wit all its strong contrasts.

@Florence: Thanks Florence! I was particularly happy with this choice of place - a completely random choice, just walking around trying to find something that didn't look 'touristy'!

Steve Rice from Olympia, United States

If Florence likes this place, it has to be good. I especially like the smooth B&W which fits the image perfectly.
