Xstrata, Kew Gardens

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Worcester Park, United Kingdom) on 3 May 2012 in Landscape & Rural.

Back to Kew Gardens near London, and some views from the Xstrata elevated walkway. Definitely do not go up this if you are scared of heights, the walkway is made of a metal mesh latticework and you can see straight down through it. And it bounces slightly when you walk on it...

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

I was up there, once, with a rugby team who were trying to make it sway . . . ! The elevator was an expensive embarrassment, too.

@Ronnie 2¢: The elevator was broken this day Ronnie!

Un puente que se mueve con el paso de la gente puede ser aterrador para las personas con vértigo.

@Javier: Muy aterrador Javier!

Never been to Kew - but your pictures have persuaded me that it might be a good idea.
