Finally getting back to the blog after a New Year break, and I've begun sifting through the hundreds of photos I took on our recent trip back to Japan. Happy New Year to you all!

I'm starting at Amanohashidate (meaning "bridge to heaven") in Miyazu Bay, Kyoto prefecture. This is a very famous sightseeing spot in Japan. The name is taken from the tree-lined sand bar crossing the bay.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!
