Another tradition here - buzz a stone through the hoop (for luck, as usual). Trickier than it looks... Note the guide that's attached to the fence, showing you the best way to throw your stone.

@Ruthiebear: Thanks Ruthiebear, alas no... very difficult! The little biodegradable discs you buy to chuck through are very light and the hoop is a fair way away; you need lots of practice!
