One Man Car, Amanohashidate

Posted by
Daryl Johnson (Sutton, United Kingdom) on 16 February 2013 in Transportation and Portfolio.

Farewell to Amanohashidate...

The single car train (wanman - "One Man" - ワンマン) that took us onwards from Amanohashidate to our next destination, Kinosaki Onsen.

I apologise in advance if I'm tardy with commenting on your blogs or returning comments during the week... I will get to you though!

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

I like this invasion of blue in an old-style train station! It must be used quite a lot if it is still riding the rails...(This must be real inaka!)

@Japanalia: Thanks Gabriela - real inaka indeed! But I've been on these kinds of trains quite a lot - Hokuriku, Shikoku, they are still very popular!

Florence from Paris, France

Neat blue chairs and the blue train, "Tango". I enjoy little stations like this. Where are those signs, in English, I always lookout for?

@Steve Rice: Thanks - Not on this line Steve, as the train company is just a local operator!

Basile Pesso from France

Excellent framing, wonderful blue union and good processing ! (Or HDR !).
